Navegaon Nagzira tiger reserve is located in the Pitezari area that is situated in the eastern part of Maharashtra. The tiger reserve offers an excellent view of the surroundings as it is located right by the Navegaon lake over there. Some of the animals are leopards, spotted deer, sloth bears, tigers and many more. Not only animals, but Navegaon wildlife sanctuary is home to different species of endangered birds as well.

Navegaon National Park is a National park located in the Arjuni Morgaon subdivision of Gondia district in state of Maharashtra, India. The Dr Salim Ali Bird Sanctuary, Navegaon is home to almost 60% of the bird species found in entire Maharashtra. Every winter, flocks of migratory birds visit the lake. The national park has diverse type of vegetation ranging from dry mixed forest to moist forest.
